A) When leads are looking for team extension, DEDICATED DEVELOPERS:


1 - Pre-qualification

YouTeam researches each and every lead, gets basic information on their projects.

2 - Matching

As a result of initial tech stack / industry and product experience matching, YouTeam shares info on the lead with relevant partner agencies to source candidates (using emails and our Facebook group). Speed of your response is key at this stage: the leads usually receive offers from YouTeam within 1-2 days.

3 - Candidate pre-interivews (optional)

In case the lead requests additional communication/English skills check done by YouTeam, YouTeam's specialists may ask for your help in arranging 5-minute calls with potential candidates - for brief video recording. We only ask general non-tech questions on such calls.

4 - Offer

After receiving candidate suggestions (bids) from its partners, YouTeam analyses and compares the bids to define 3-5 options that match the lead's inquiry best.
YouTeam then shares the sourced candidates' profiles with the lead (here's a guide on how to create a great profile). 

5 - Interviews (Interview Guide)

YouTeam helps arrange and conduct the interviews of the selected specialist (demos of relevant portfolio examples are welcome on the call).

6 - Email intro with the lead

YouTeam makes a direct email introduction between the agency and the lead.

7 - Test task

As the next step the lead may request a specialist’s code samples, examples of completed projects (links) or provide a small test task (up to 1.5h long).

8 - Contract

The specialist’s employer agency signs a direct contract with the customer. YouTeam provides a standard contract template. Payments on the project go through YouTeam Escrow.


B) When leads are looking for AGENCIES TO IMPLEMENT DEFINED SCOPE:


1 - Pre-qualification

YouTeam researches each and every lead, gets basic information on their projects.

2 - Matching

As a result of initial tech stack / industry and product experience matching, YouTeam shares info on the lead with relevant partner agencies (using emails and our Facebook group). Speed of your response is key at this stage: the leads usually receive an offer from YouTeam within 1-2 days.

In this case, YouTeam's goal is to suggest companies with a relevant stack and portfolio to the lead (and sometimes - to get preliminary estimates as well). 

3 - Offer

After receiving relevant company & project information bids from its partners, YouTeam analyses and compares the bids to define 3-5 options that match the lead's inquiry best. YouTeam then shares the info on relevant companies with the lead.

4 - Call, then text intro & estimates (Intro Calls Guide)

YouTeam helps arrange and conduct an intro call between the agency and the lead (demos of relevant portfolio examples are welcome on the call). Then YouTeam makes an introduction between the matching agency and the lead for a direct estimates discussion. Alternatively, an intro via email is done first.

5 - Refined estimates

The agency refines the estimates based on the direct project discussion.

6 - Contract

The agency signs a direct contract with the customer. YouTeam provides a standard contract template. Payments on the project go through YouTeam Escrow.
